Until Help Arrives is a new initiative to better prepare citizens across New England with simple and effective skills to save lives prior to first responders arriving. The training covers a number of key areas including how citizens can effectively communicate with 9-1-1 operators, stay safe in a dangerous situation, stop life-threatening bleeding, position the injured, and provide emotional support. With these basic skills, citizens can play a part in being a part of the solution during an emergency.
