This is a 4-hour virtually delivered course for emergency management professionals who have little or no experience creating Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) and/or implementing a continuity program. In this course participants will learn about the benefits and key components of continuity planning including: mission essential functions, leadership succession, delegations of authority, alternate facilities and communication strategies. Activities will include practicing the skills of outlining the key components and available resources in creating continuity plans.
